Kimalana Inclusive Solutions – 2025 Projects Overview

In 2025, Kimalana Inclusive Solutions proudly partnered with a range of organisations across Te Tai Tokerau and beyond, providing specialist Health & Safety leadership, project oversight, and client-focused advisory services.

Meridian Energy | Ruakākā Solar Farm (QA Health & Safety Manager, 2025)

Kimalana Inclusive Solutions supported Meridian as QA Health & Safety Manager on iots inaugural grid‑scale solar development in New Zealand.

  • Scheduled for completion: Early 2027

  • Capital value: $227 million

  • Environmental enhancements include:

    • A new 5-hectare wetland

    • Improvement of 4 hectares of existing wetland

    • 22 hectares of restoration planting

Excited to be part of Meridian’s management team and contribute to a flagship project in Aotearoa’s renewable energy sector.

Bream Bay Community Trust | Ruakākā Office Refurbishment

 

Oversight of the refurbishment and redevelopment of the Trust’s new office block facilities.Delivered: Upgrade of the existing premises

Upcoming: Stage 2 commencing March 2026

 

 

Otawere Water Storage Reservoir | Te Tai Tokerau

Health & Safety Advisory for Map Projects

The project involves the construction and operation of a major water storage reservoir and dam system in the upper catchment of a tributary of the Waitangi River, Waimate North, Northland.

A-Line Projects – 2025

WDC Rose Street Bus Hub – Stage 2

 

Stage 2 redevelopment included:

- Demolition of existing bus hub buildings

- Construction of:

- New public toilets Staff facilities

- Ticketing office

- Covered seating area

- New pedestrian link between Rose and Vine Streets, improving safety to the city centre.

 

These improvements elevate public transport user experience and encourage community uptake.

 

Tikipunga Primary School

New Classrooms (Stages 1 & 2)Delivery of additional teaching capacity to meet increased student numbers.

- Total new floor area: 252.2 m²

- Stage 1: Stock double‑classroom installed to meet accelerated programme requirements

- Stage 2: Completion of the remaining new teaching spaces

 

 

Rosvall Sawmill – Timber Treatment

Plant Development of a new 1,271 m² timber treatment facility, including:

- Installation of numerous large timber‑driven piles

- Early installation of storage tanks and treatment plant equipment

- Construction of the structural steel portal frame
